that have working knowledge of psp

Tools and Supplies Needed

PSP

BCA PTU Kit By Vicki and Tamie at dreams N Digital store

Font of choice I used Edwardian Script

Tube of choice
I used the art of Ismael Rac
you will need to purchase a license to use his art
you must not use the same image in the tutorial
unless you have the appropriate
artist license to do so
Ismael rac can be purchased at XeracX store

♥ Ready Let's Start ♥

Open PSP

New Image 700x700 transparent

Open ele21 - copy and paste as a new layer

with the magic wand tool click inside the frame
go to selections - Modify - expand by 8 ok
copy and paste paper of choice as a new layer
selections - invert - hit delete on your keypad
selections - select none - move the paper layer
below the frame layer - open again ele21
stand under the frame layer - copy and paste as a new layer
resize by 70 % - resize all layers unchecked ok
and position to the left - see mine - duplicate - mirror

add a paper of choice to both frames ( L ) and (R)
using the same step as above
Apply drop shadow to all the frame layers

On the frame layer - click inside with the magic wand tool
selections - modify - expand by 8
Copy and paste tube of choice as a new layer above the paper layer
and position tube
selections - invert - hit delete - selections - select none

Duplicate the tube layer -
on the dupe set blend mode to soft light
apply drop shadow on the original tube layer

repeat for the other two frame layers

copy and paste elements of choice from kit as new layers
resize as needed and position - see mine - apply drop shadows

add your name and credits

If you want a transparent background
close out the background - click on any layer other then the
closed background layer
edit copy merged - paste as a new image
copy the image once more
paste as a new image - and it will crop perfectly
and save as png
If you want to resize after you crop do so before adding
the credits :) and your done

Template #9 by Charmed Vixenz

Tube of choice
I used the art Elias Chatzoudis
you will need to purchase a license to use this art
you must not use the same image in the tutorial
unless you have the appropriate
artist license to do so

Open PSP

Open Template - Shift + D to duplicate
close out the original template

Delete the following layers from the template

Credit
hocus pocus pixel
hocus pocus

Now you will need to remove the wording that
is merged in the filmstrip
activate your selection tool - selection type: Rectangle

make sure your on the filmstrip layer and make a selection
just around the wording and hit delete on your keypad
and flood fill black for now - selections - select none

you will need to do this for both wording top and bottom
of the filmstrip layer

On the film strip layer
go to adjust - color balance - Channel Mixer
use settings in screen shot below



on this same layer - selections - select all
float - defloat - selections - modify
select selection borders -
inside and anti-alias ticked
Border width 3 - selections - invert
hit delete on your keypad - select none

again on this same layer - selections - select all
float - defloat - selections - invert - layers - new raster layer
move new layer below the filmstrip layer - flood fill color of choice
selections - select none

now that was the longest part lol

for each template layer - go in what ever order you want
making sure to select all - float - defloat
copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer
selections - invert - hit delete on the paper layer
and delete the original template layer - or you can colorize
add noise - the possibilities are endless
add drop shadows to the template layers

then add any elements from kit desired
resizing and adding drop shadows - see my tag for example
add your tube where desired - see mine - apply drop shadow

add any wordart of your choice ~ see mine

Add your name and credits ~

If you want a transparent background
close out the background - click on any layer other then the
closed background layer
edit copy merged - paste as a new image - copy the image once more
paste as a new image - and it will crop perfectly and save as png
If you want to resize after you crop do so before adding
the credits :) and your done

Open PSP
New Image 700x700 transparent - flood fill white
Open Frame 2 - paste as a new layer
go to effects - plugins - Xero - Greyscaler - default settings
then apply xero - radiance - default settings
Apply drop shadow

Open paper of choice I used p6
copy and paste as a new layer below the frame - resize by 60%
apply xero Greyscaler - default settings

Add any other elements of choice - resize as needed
greyscale them if desired and Xero Radiance
see mine for example - apply drop shadows


Copy and paste your tube of choice as a new layer
go to xero - greyscaler - default settings - and Xero radiance
default settings - apply drop shadow

Add your name and credits
I used a gradient glow for the name and drop shadow

If you want a transparent background
close out the background - click on any layer other then the
closed background layer
edit copy merged - paste as a new image - copy the image once more
paste as a new image - and it will crop perfectly and save as png
If you want to resize after you crop do so before adding
the credits :) and your done
